Faith without works is dead
This message regarding faith without works is mentioned a few times in the words of the Bible. Most approach their works as involving themselves with Christian causes or charitable organizations.
The works are also as singular as making a decision to conduct your life in a loving manner and involve yourself in works of hope and fellowship when provided to you. Baptism is a specific decision that one makes equaling the first of your works to live a life saved by Christ.
Choosing to become baptized is a work of faith, initiating one as a recipient of God's blessings and protection, guaranteed by His promise.
Single Baptisms:
We don't discriminate on locations for baptisms, however would ask that you would not consider ocean, river or lake baptisms. Our ceremony baptizes by total emersion for candidates that are old enough to experience it. We will gladly baptize at home or hired locations where total emersion is available or can be accommodated.
Group Baptisms:
Group baptisms are usually conducted to accommodate congregations of a specific church family. We will conduct group baptisms for fellowships that become an extension of the Faith In God Church.
Infant Baptisms:
Baptizing infants is a common practice. With infant cermonies we require the Parents to assist with, and join in, baptizing their infant child. We suggest not to use a total emersion baptism in these circumstances however we will not refuse the request to anyone looking to Baptize their infant child.
In truth, the church is not a building or structure, but more the hearts and souls of the faithful that represent the spiritual brick and mortar of a community that Christ named “His Church.”
